Treatment Photography

1. Type of production and brief details on Subject/Concept:
In Solitude-
This is to do with a single object on its own or if it is a person it would be feeling on their own. I would like to show this by either having a group of people surrounding a specific  person and then using the shutter speed to make the group blurred and the person in the middle standing still or i would make the group in black and white and then the person in the middle would be in colour. This would represent that they are alone at heart or feel excluded from the group. If i was unable to do this picture then i would like the idea of having one person in a big area e.g. a train station or in the middle of a field.

2. Facilities: What facilities do you need for this project list all including software and hardware for the whole project

The facilities that i would need are:
  • A group of people that are willing to have their picture taken.
  • A Canon 500D camera and tripod.
  • Spare batterys for the camera. (Just in case)
  • Memory card for the camera.
  • An area that i could take the picture.
  • I may need photoshop.
  • Maybe lighting if it was an inside area.

3. Finance: If you produced this project outside of the college you need to show how much would it cost to hire the equipment that you intend to use.

  • Canon 450D Camera; £100.83 for a weekly hire.
  • Camlink TPPRE20 Premium Tripod; £19.99
  • Sandisk 8GB Card; £8 for weekly hire.
  • Photo Editing Software (Photoshop); £23 for a Month
4. Contributors: Who do you need to help this for you project? This includes talent and crew.
I will need a friend to be my model, she will need to be able to keep and straight and serious face and will also need to be happy with sitting on dirt. She will need to be able to project the emotions that I have in mind and will also need to be able to present them to a high standard.

5. Presentation: How will you present the pictures? Will you include a soundtrack, think about copy write issues etc.
After taking my photos i would then put them into a slideshow, I will only use pictures that have the models written consent and if i were to use music then i would also write the artists name in the credits to make sure i could not be sued for copyright.

Fashion Photography

Fashion photography is most often conducted for advertisements or fashion magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, or Elle. Over time, fashion photography has developed its own aesthetic in which the clothes and fashions are enhanced by the presence of exotic locations or accessories.Photography was developed in 1830's, but the earliest popular technique, the daguerreotype, was unsuitable for mass printing. Fashion photography is a genre of photography devoted to displaying clothing and other fashion items.
